PRICING

Camp Mendocino welcomes all youth to attend our summer camp programs. While many campers are Bay Area residents, we also host youth from all around the country, and internationally!

The prices listed on our website reflect the full cost of attending Camp. However, we are committed to making Camp accessible to all families, regardless of financial circumstances. We offer scholarships for various groups, and if financial assistance is needed, please review the options below. Scholarships are not determined based on financial information; instead, we ask families to select the level they can afford. Our scholarship funds are limited, but we strive to make Camp Mendocino an option for every camper. If you can pay a higher fee, your contribution helps us provide additional scholarship support to families in need. If you are experiencing significant financial hardship and the options are out of reach for you, please contact our Manager of Camp Administration, Leticia Lima(llima@kidsclub.org), for further assistance.

If you are not a member of BGCSF, we have a no-questions-asked scholarship scale that you can choose on the first page of the application. Please select the appropriate option for your financial need.

I don't need a scholarship.
The full price of a Camp session is $850 for 8-day sessions or $650 for 5 and 6-day sessions. If you can afford this amount, we encourage you to select this option and allow for additional scholarships to be available to families in need.

Partial Scholarship Needed
For an 8-day session, This option grants a $225 scholarship.
For a 6-day session, this option grants a $150 scholarship.

Maximum Scholarship Needed
For an 8-day session, This option grants a $375 scholarship.
For a 6-day session, this option grants a $275 scholarship.

If you have an active membership at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, please select this option to receive the best price. Active membership will be confirmed with your Clubhouse.

For an 8-day session, this option grants a $570 scholarship.

For a 6-day session, this option grants a $425 scholarship.

If you need additional financial assistance, please speak to the Clubhouse Director at your Club. They will be able to allocate up to $100 additional scholarships on an as-needed basis.

If your camper is attending Camp as an LIT or CIT (Leader in Training or Career in Training), Please select “CIT/LIT programs.” This will waive the fee for your camper for all sessions, except Session 3, where teens up to age 17 can attend as campers - there will be no LIT/CIT programs during session 3. Please note, your teen must also complete the LIT/CIT application and be accepted into the program in order to attend Camp.

All LITs/CITs are advised to sign up for the Session 1A: LIT/CIT training. This is new for 2025, free for LITs and CITs, and will provide valuable training for teens participating in our leadership programs.

If teens would like to participate as a camper at Camp, without the responsibilities of being an LIT or CIT, they are welcome to sign up for Session 3. This has a reduced fee for LITs/CITs and will cost $125.

If your camper is a member of a Native American tribal community, or otherwise identifies as Native American or Indigenous, we have specific scholarship funds available. Membership does not need to be in a tribe that is federally recognized in order to qualify for this scholarship. Additional information will be requested in the application.

SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM

Part of the application you fill out for your camper includes an application for the California Department of Education Summer Food Service Program. This allows Camp Mendocino to receive funding for meals served at Camp. All Camp applications include this form. Eligibility for the summer foods program does NOT affect your eligibility for Camp scholarships, nor does it change the price of Camp for families. We offer families the lowest available price, regardless of Summer Foods Program eligibility. For more information on the summer foods program, please click here.
